Old Hickory Credit Union is pleased to be able to offer our Mortgage Rate Widget for you to be able to monitor our mortgage rates. Our Mortgage Rate Widget uses Yahoo! Widget Engine software owned by the Yahoo! Corporation. Old Hickory Credit Union does not endorse or make any warranty for the Yahoo! Widget Engine software or the external Yahoo! website used to download the software.

If you are familiar with Yahoo! Widgets and already have the Yahoo! Widget Engine, right click here and choose "Save Target As . .. " or "Save Link As . . " . from the menu that appears When the Save window appears choose the My Documents/My Widgets directory and click "OK". If you aren’t familiar with Widgets, the FAQ’s below provide more information.

What is a Yahoo! Widget?
A Yahoo! Widget is a small, specialized desktop application that provides easy access to repeatedly used functions or frequently accessed information, such as weather forecasts, news stories or in the case of our Widget mortgage rates. Once installed, the Widget keeps itself updated with the most current information available automatically.

Our Mortgage Rate Widget will display the latest mortgage rates and fees we offer personalized to meet your requirements. You won’t have to come to our website to get a rate quote – the Widget brings the rate quote to you!

How can I add your Yahoo! Widget for Mortgage Rates to my computer?
Widgets require the Yahoo! Widget Engine, which can be downloaded at http://widgets.yahoo.com. If you don’t have the Widget engine yet, install it now.
After you have installed the Widget Engine, right click here and choose "Save Target As . .. " or "Save Link As . . " from the menu that appears. When the Save window opens choose the My Documents/My Widgets directory and click "OK".

How do I set up the Mortgage Rates Widget to provide me with personalized rate information?
Once you’ve downloaded the Widget and it’s running on your Desktop, you can modify the rates that are displayed so that they match your exact criteria. To do that, click on the green triangle in the upper right-hand corner. The criteria screen will appear. Answer all the questions, and click “Go”. The Widget will update the rates displayed and will use the answers you provided to update the rate information every hour!
