OHCU’s Visa Platinum – Balance Transfer Fees:

• Currently waiving 3% Balance Transfer fee!  The standard balance transfer fee is 3% of the amount of each transfer specified in your Consumer Credit Card Agreement.
• Information regarding the terms related to a balance transfer can be found in your Consumer Credit Card Agreement and Credit Card Account Opening Disclosure.
• You cannot avoid interest on new purchase you make unless you pay your entire balance in full each month. 
• A fee is assessed each time a payment or a balance transfer check is declined or returned because of insufficient available credit. 

Methods of and Completing Balance Transfers on OHCU’s Visa Platinum Credit Card:

• You can initiate a balance transfer coming into a local OHCU branch location and working with a Branch Service Representative.  You can also initiate a balance transfer by calling OHCU or via OHCU Online Banking.
• It takes approximately 7 to 10 business days to process a balance transfer request.  This is customary processing times in the Visa Platinum business model with all lenders.  You should allow additional time for the creditor to receive the funds and credit your other account.  Please continue to make payments to your other creditor to avoid late fees.
• We will begin charging interest on balance transfers as of the later of the transaction date or the first day of the billing period in which the transfer posts to your account.
